I have lived and worked in east metro for the last 23 years after moving to Minnesota in July of 2000 from Virginia. I was looking for a change of scenery with a sense for adventure, more than 2 decades later, I am still here! Not long after I arrived, I scooped up a job in the service industry, a bus boy at TGI Fridays. Little did I know, nor realize until much later, how influential this experience would be for me. Just a few years there and I found myself a bartender at a ripe 21 years of age! Talk about a fun gig meeting people and cutting my teeth on what service really was. After 17 years slinging drinks at various establishments, I hung up the suspenders although my passion for entertaining and making a good drink continues to this day. I was fortunate enough to learn from the old school was of thinking at Fridays. Quality, Culture, Customer Experience. All more important than the all mighty dollar. I am so grateful for all the foundational things that those bartenders I have trained under and worked in the trenches with taught me.
After starting to read more about investing in real estate, I decided to get my real estate license in 2005. After a couple of years getting my feet wet, well we all know what happened in 2008 and so forth. Going through that as a new agent was an great learning experience and a challenge I was willing to take on. I welcome the opportunity to learn and grow both myself and my business and through the years have become a better agent & human because of those early lessons. Since we pulled out of the recession I have continued to serve our clients in Minnesota & Wisconsin when buying, selling or investing in real estate.
I love all things real estate but I love life in general! I really enjoy anything outside, but specifically boating on the St Croix river, baseball (Go Red Sox), & snowboarding. I have been playing the drums since I was 9ish so anything music, I am game. You can catch me petting all the big dogs & I enjoy a meaningful conversation daily! Let's get coffee and have a chat!
